   Registration is free for journalists and researchers. Hostwriter verifies each new member to ensure a safe professional space.

2. Create your profile

   Add your specializations (e.g., migration, security, human rights, technology) and the languages you work in. This helps match you with relevant collaborators.

3. Find us on Hostwriter

   Search for Border Profiteers or contact our listed journalists directly through the platform’s messaging system.

4. Send a short message introducing your work:

   • What you’re investigating or researching
   • What kind of collaboration you’re looking for (co-reporting, data verification, story sharing, etc.)
   • Any confidentiality or timing concerns
